CHANGE TO SURGERY SERVICE

Due to the ongoing outbreak we are putting in place a series of measures to keep all our patients and staff as safe as we possibly can:

- For the foreseeable future, open surgery will be suspended and all patients will be required to call the surgery on: 01620 842171 and be triaged by phone by GP. Practice Nurse appointments will also be triaged and called accordingly. You will be asked for a summary of your symptoms and if you have been in direct contact with a person who has tested positive for Coronavirus. The GP will contact you by return phone call and if deemed safe and necessary then you may be given an appointment.

- If you have any concerns regarding hospital appointments or travel please visit www.nhsinform.scot and/or www.fitfortravel.nhs.uk.

We would like to thank all our patients for their understanding and ask if you could share this information as widely as possible.

PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS

Please note that it is currently taking Gullane Pharmacy 5 days to process repeat prescription requests. We would ask that you refrain from ordering any unnecessary medication at this time.

thank you for your co-operation

Repeat Prescriptions

Patients getting regular medication can arrange with the Doctor to get prescriptions without having to come to the surgery every time.

You can order your repeat prescriptions on line using the order form accessed from the link above.

Written requests may be left at reception. To avoid mistakes, please state clearly the name of the medicine you need and do not request any medicine you are not getting regularly. Repeat prescriptions can be ordered by ticking the relevent names of the required prescription on the right hand side of the prescription form and handing that in to reception at the surgery.

Telephone prescription requests will be taken between 10am and 3pm Monday to Friday and will normally be ready at the Pharmacy within 2 working days (48 hours). If you order on a Friday they will be ready on the following Tuesday.
