Telephone Scam

We have been informed of a new telephone scam from a company calling themselves 'My Healthcare'. As ever they are requesting bank details and sound quite feasible however this is NOT a real company and any healthcare professionals will NEVER ask for your financial information. Pease be alert to these calls and stay safe.

Covid-19 vaccinations

Please AVOID CALLING the surgery with any enquiries about the covid-19 vaccination as we are unable to give you any more information at this stage, and we need to try and keep phone lines open for people who are unwell and needing medical care.

Prescription requests

TheScottish Government and NHS Lothian have advised GP's and Practice Pharmacists not to pre-prescribe medication and advise patients not to stockpile medications which would place undue stress on the supply chain. The Scottish Government have given assurances that this is not necessary and that sufficient contingency stock exists within the supply chain.

We operate a practice complaints procedure as part of the NHS system for dealing with complaints. Our system meets the national criteria.
